NEW DELHI, January 03,2026 : The Election Commission of India (ECI) has invited citizens to download the trial version of the ECINet App and submit suggestions for improvement via the ‘Submit a Suggestion’ tab.
The deadline for public feedback has been set for January 10, 2026, as the Commission seeks to refine the platform before its official launch later this month. This unified digital interface replaces 40 separate applications and websites—including the Voter Helpline, cVIGIL, Saksham, and KYC apps—consolidating all election-related services into a single, user-friendly portal available on both Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Developed under the leadership of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi, the ECINet platform aims to modernize voter services and enhance transparency. The app was successfully tested during the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections and various bye-elections, demonstrating its ability to provide real-time polling trends and publish Index Cards within just 72 hours of polls closing—a process that previously took months.
By incorporating direct feedback from citizens and field officials, the ECI intends to ensure the final version of the app is robust, efficient, and tailored to the needs of the electorate.
