Eid-ul-Fitr 2026: Ramban District Celebrates with Religious Fervor and Prayers for National Peace

RAMBAN, March 21, 2026 — The festive spirit of Eid-ul-Fitr swept across Ramban district today as thousands of devotees gathered in a grand display of faith, unity, and communal harmony. The day began with massive congregations at Jamia Masjid Sharif Ramban and various Eidgahs in Banihal, Gool, and Batote, where worshippers offered special Namaz-e-Eid, praying fervently for the continued peace, development, and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir and the nation. Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan, joined the festivities by extending warm greetings, highlighting how such auspicious occasions serve as a cornerstone for fostering brotherhood and social cohesion.

The celebrations were marked by high-profile attendance from local leadership and administration, including MLA Ramban Arjun Singh Raju, SSP Arun Gupta, and ADC Varunjeet Singh Charak, who joined the local community at Jamia Masjid Qadeem to share in the joy of the festival.
