Eid-ul-Fitr 2026: Doda Celebrates with Devotion and Unity as Thousands Gather for Eidgah Prayers

DODA, March 21, 2026 — The vibrant spirit of Eid-ul-Fitr resonated across District Doda today as the Muslim community gathered in massive numbers to mark the conclusion of the holy month with religious fervor and traditional enthusiasm.

The focal point of the celebrations was the Eidgah Doda, where a grand congregational prayer was led by the Imam of Jamia Masjid Doda, drawing a diverse crowd of devotees, senior citizens, and children.

Joining the local worshippers were Deputy Commissioner Doda, Krishan Lal, and Senior Superintendent of Police Sandeep Kumar Mehta, who personally oversaw the proceedings and participated in the exchange of festive greetings, emphasizing the festival’s role in strengthening the fabric of communal harmony and national peace.

To facilitate a seamless experience for the public, the District Administration implemented elaborate arrangements covering security, traffic management, and essential civic amenities across all major prayer sites. Similar scenes of devotion were witnessed at various Eidgahs throughout the district, where the air was filled with the spirit of “Eid Mubarak” and heartfelt prayers for prosperity.
