Kathua 07 November :- Continuing its efforts against drug menace, J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Mohita Sharma IPS today recovered approx. 12.89 grams of Heroin (Chitta) like narcotics in the jurisdictional area of PP Nagri, 01 drug peddler arrested.
Acting on the intelligent input received through a reliable source, a Police team led by IC PP Nagri under the supervision of Addl. SP Kathua Rahul Charak JKPS, DySP Hqrs Kathua Ravinder Singh & SHO PS Kathua Insp. Sandeep Singh Chib laid down a special naka/ checking in its jurisdictional area and apprehended one person namely Din Mohd S/o Missa R/o Gonnd Tehsil Nagri District Kathua who was having 12.89 grams of heroine like substance in his possession.
The recovered contraband along with cash amount of Rs. 47700/- was seized and accused person was taken into police custody on spot. In this connection, further investigation is in progress vide FIR No. 543/2025 U/S 8/21/22/NDPS Act, PS Kathua.
