Udhampur, September 24:Udhampur Police continues its relentless drive against drug abuse and its menace in society.
Police team of PP Tikri, while performing daily routine traffic checking at Naka point Tikri, one electric auto bearing registration number JK14K-6853 coming from Jammu side towards Udhampur side was stopped for checking.
On questioning, the driver disclosed his identity as Naveel Akram S/o Akram Mir R/o Dhanoo, Tehsil & District Udhampur.On his personal search, 6.19 gms of Heroin was recovered from his possession.
In this regard, case FIR No. 146/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Rehambal and investigation has been taken up.
