Udhampur 09 September :- Police continues its relentless drive against drug abuse and its menace in society.During a routine traffic checking at Gol Mela, Udhampur, a police team of Police Station Udhampur led by its SHO intercepted an E-Rickshaw (JK14L 3690) coming from Udhampur City towards Roun-Domail.
On checking, one person identified as Rahul Sharma S/o Mohan Lal R/o Jagwal Majalta A/P Satani Round Domail, Udhampur was found carrying 20 strips (10 tablets each) of Tramadol & 100 strips (10 tablets each) of Pregabalin who has been arrested on spot and the contraband was also seized.In this regard, a case FIR No. 322/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Udhampur and investigation has been set into motion.
