BISHNAH 21 Augush :- In a major relief for the residents of Arnia and Salehar, MLA Bishnah Dr. Rajeev Bhagat today gave the green signal to a new bus service connecting the rural belt directly to Jammu. The launch of this long-awaited service is a direct fulfilment of a key promise made by Dr. Bhagat during his election campaign, addressing a critical and long-standing demand of the local populace.
The event, which saw an enthusiastic gathering of local leaders and residents, marked a significant milestone in improving connectivity and public transportation for the region. For years, the lack of a dedicated and reliable bus service has been a source of hardship for students, daily commuters, and the elderly, who often faced challenges in traveling to Jammu for work, education, and medical needs. The new bus service, running from Arnia via Salehar to Jammu, is expected to alleviate these issues and significantly ease the lives of thousands of people.
Speaking at the flagging-off ceremony, Dr. Rajeev Bhagat expressed his gratitude to the people for their unwavering support and highlighted his commitment to the development of the Bishnah Constituency. “This is not just a bus service; it is a lifeline for the people of Arnia and Salehar,” he stated. “During my election campaign, I had pledged to address this critical issue, and I am immensely happy to see that promise come to fruition today.”
The MLA emphasized that the initiative was a result of persistent efforts and coordination with the concerned authorities to ensure the smooth implementation of the service.
