Udhampur 20 November :- Dr.Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) government of India and local Member of Parliament, visited the ongoing mega cataract surgery eye camp at Command Hospital Northern Command, Udhampur.
Dr Singh interacted with the patients under treatment, veterans, hospital authorities and surgical team. He applauded the efforts of Indian Army to organise such an event for the local population.
Dr Jitendra Singh said that The Northern Command has always been at the forefront of delivering welfare to the people of J&K. He deeply appreciated the efforts of the special surgical team from Army Hospital (R&R) New Delhi that has come over all the way to Udhampur to provide quality cataract surgery through latest techniques to the people of the region.
The camp shall conclude on 22 Nov and a large number of beneficiaries from far flung areas from Udhampur, Doda, Rajouri, Poonch, Kishtwar and other districts are going to get benefitted from the same.
