PAMPORE, FEB 8, 2026 — National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah has expressed profound grief and strong condemnation following a tragic explosion inside a mosque in Pakistan.
Describing the cowardly act as “extremely unfortunate,” Dr. Abdullah emphasized that places of worship are sacred spaces meant for prayer and peace, not sites for violence.
He characterized the targeting of innocent worshippers as a grave crime against humanity and expressed deep heartbreak over the loss of life. Extending his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families, the veteran leader also offered prayers for the rapid recovery of those injured in the blast.
