Director Agriculture Anil Gupta Reviews HADP and Central Schemes Progress in Jammu

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 03, 2026 – Director Agriculture Jammu Anil Gupta chaired a high-level review meeting at Krishi Bhawan to evaluate the physical and financial milestones of major agricultural initiatives across the Jammu Division.

The session focused on the implementation of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS), Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) works, and NABARD-funded projects, while also addressing the status of data integration on various digital portals.

Attended by senior officers including Krishan Kant, Mohammad Yaqoob Zargar, and Vriti Uppal, along with Chief Agriculture Officers via video conferencing, the meeting highlighted component-wise achievements against annual targets.

Director Anil Gupta urged officials to ensure the swift and transparent utilization of resources to maximize benefits for the farming community, with a specific emphasis on RKVY and Farm Mechanization to boost irrigation and productivity.

He issued strict instructions to the Chief Agriculture Officers to monitor HADP projects closely and ensure 100 percent expenditure completion within the stipulated timelines to strengthen the region’s agricultural infrastructure.
