DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range Awards Top Investigating Officers for Excellence in Professional Policing

Udhampur, January 31, 2026: In a significant move to promote quality investigation and the swift disposal of legal cases, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Udhampur-Reasi Range, Sarah Rizvi, honored the top-performing Investigating Officers (IOs) of District Udhampur today.

During a felicitation ceremony held at the District Police Office (DPO), Rizvi, accompanied by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Amod Nagpure, presented awards to several officers for their exceptional dedication to duty.

The event was attended by Additional SP Sandeep Bhat and Abhijeet Sirohi, highlighting the department’s focus on institutionalizing merit-based recognition within the force.

The officers recognized for their outstanding contributions include Yogeshwar Manhotra (PSI), Abdul Rashid (ASI), and Head Constables Ved Prakash, Parkash Singh, and Pawan Singh.
