Two More Booked for Misconduct in Public by Udhampur Police
Udhampur 08 September :- District Police Udampur has booked a Dhaba owner along with three persons for selling and consuming liquor in a public place and in a separate instance two drunken persons for creating misconduct in public.
At Slathia Chowk Udhampur, police team of PS Udhampur registered a case under FIR No. 321/2025 U/S 48(f)/50(A) Excise Act against the Dhaba owner namely Deepak Sharma @ Deepu S/o Uttam Chand R/o Barmeen A/P Jakhani for selling liquor/allowing drinking at his Dhaba.
Three others namely Gulshan Singh, Rishabh Kumar and Sham Lal were also booked for drinking alcohol at the Dhaba (a public place).In another instance at Sailan Talab Matador Stand, Udhampur two drunken persons were booked under Section 355 BNS for creating misconduct in public.
Udhampur Police urges citizens to refrain from consuming liquor in public places or indulging in activities that disturb peace and order. People are advised to report such incidents to the nearest Police Station. Strict action will be taken against violators to ensure public safety and order.
