Bandipora November 10: Director General of Police, J&K, Nalin Prabhat-IPS today visited Bandipora district. He was accompanied by Special DG (Coordination), PHQ J&K, S.J.M. Gillani-IPS, and Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, V.K. Birdi-IPS.
At the onset of the visit, the DGP inaugurated the newly constructed Police Martyrs Memorial at District Police Lines (DPL) Bandipora, built in memory of Martyr Inspector Mohammad Altaf Dar. The DG-P along with the accompanying senior officers, paid floral tributes at the memorial to honour the supreme sacrifice of the martyr.
On this solemn occasion, family members of Martyr Inspector Mohammad Altaf Dar were also present and paid floral tributes along with the senior officers at the memorial.SSP Bandipora Ajaz Ahmed Zargar-JKPS, Addl.
