PUNE March 21, 2026:- In a significant move toward modernizing force capabilities and enhancing troop morale, the Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), G.P. Singh, IPS, conducted a high-level inspection of key installations across Pune, including the Composite Hospital (CH), 242 Battalion, Advanced Weapons School (AWS), Central Weapons Store (CWS), and the Group Centre (GC) Pune.

The visit was marked by a series of strategic inaugurations aimed at upgrading administrative efficiency, including the unveiling of a state-of-the-art administrative block at the CWS and a modern Visitors Lounge at GC Pune.

A primary highlight of the tour was the DG’s review of the “SATHI” App, a specialized digital platform designed to prioritize the mental health and psychological well-being of personnel, reflecting the force’s evolving focus on holistic health in high-pressure environments.

Beyond operational infrastructure, the DG underscored the organization’s commitment to the quality of life for its members and their families by inaugurating a new cinema hall within the campus, ensuring that recreational welfare remains a priority alongside professional duty.

The visit concluded with a strategic session where G.P. Singh presided over a meeting with various Heads of Institutions (HoIs). This dialogue focused on long-term institutional growth, the integration of advanced technologies, and the maintenance of a “stronger, healthier force.”

By blending physical infrastructure upgrades with digital mental health support and family-centric amenities, the DG’s visit set a new standard of excellence for CRPF operations in the region.
