DG BSF Praveen Kumar Reviews Passing Out Parade of New Officers at Gwalior Academy

GWALIOR, February 14, 2026 — Marking a significant milestone in national security, the Director General of the Border Security Force (BSF), Praveen Kumar, IPS, reviewed the grand Passing Out Parade of the Assistant Commandant Direct Entry (AC-DE) Course Serial No. 52 today.

Held at the prestigious BSF Academy in Gwalior, the ceremony celebrated the successful transformation of a new cohort of officers into elite “sentinels of the nation.” This graduation serves as the culmination of an intensive 52-week training regimen designed to forge high-caliber leaders capable of securing India’s vast and diverse frontiers.

The rigorous year-long curriculum at the academy focused on sharpening both the physical and mental faculties of the trainees, with a specialized emphasis on modern border management strategies and tactical excellence.

Addressing the newly commissioned officers, the DG highlighted their critical role in maintaining the integrity of India’s borders and lauded their dedication to the service.
