DG Assam Rifles Visits Ghaspani Garrison in Nagaland to Review Operations and Academic Initiatives

CHUMOUKEDIMA, NAGALAND — April 6, 2026Lieutenant General Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, Director General of Assam Rifles, conducted an official visit to the Ghaspani Garrison in Nagaland’s Chumoukedima District today to oversee regional security and community development projects.

During his visit, the Director General engaged with the students and faculty of the second batch at the Subedar P B Chhetri, Kirti Chakra, Centre of Excellence (NIEDO). He praised the scholars for their academic perseverance and dedication, highlighting the importance of the center in fostering educational growth within the region.
