Udhampur 02 September :- In response to the recent flash floods, landslides, and cloud bursts that have severely impacted various areas of District Udhampur, Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai has issued an official order for the immediate formation of special assessment teams.
The directive, aimed at evaluating the extensive damage caused to government, public, and private infrastructure, mandates a comprehensive field assessment across all Sub-Divisions, Tehsils, and Blocks of the district. The teams have been tasked with conducting detailed on-ground surveys to gauge the destruction from the natural calamities and to gather crucial feedback from the affected communities. This initiative is a critical step towards facilitating necessary relief and rehabilitation measures for the impacted residents, ensuring a structured and efficient response to the disaster.
