Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary Orders Fast-Track Completion of Reasi Road Projects; Visits Kalidhar Mandir
REASI, March 4, 2026 — In a major push for regional connectivity, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary conducted a comprehensive inspection of ongoing infrastructure projects across Reasi district today.
Focusing on public convenience and spiritual tourism, the Deputy CM performed an on-the-spot review of the link road connecting Kalidhar Mandir to Samadhi Ghai Jagi. He issued strict directives to the PWD (R&B) Division Reasi to expedite the remaining work, specifically ordering the immediate commencement of blacktopping to ensure a smooth commute for both local residents and visiting devotees.
During the tour, the Deputy Chief Minister also paid obeisance at the historic Kalidhar Mandir, where he prayed for the peace and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir. While at the shrine, he inspected ongoing facility upgrades designed to provide seamless accessibility and improved amenities for pilgrims.
Emphasizing that there would be no compromise on approved quality standards or technical specifications, the Deputy CM urged field functionaries to meet all project deadlines to foster holistic development in the district.
