Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary Inspects ₹7.42 Crore Meeran Sahib Bridge, Mandates Quality Standards

Jammu, April 13: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary conducted a comprehensive site inspection of the ongoing construction of the ₹7.42 crore bridge project located on the Satwari–R.S. Pura road at Meeran Sahib today.

Emphasizing the project’s historical significance and its role in providing seamless connectivity for local residents, the Deputy CM reviewed both the pace and the structural quality of the vital infrastructure.

During his interaction with engineers and senior officials, including Chief Engineer R&B Rajesh Kumar Agastam, he demanded strict adherence to set quality parameters and warned that periodic inspections would be conducted to ensure the work meets prescribed standards.

Beyond structural integrity, the Deputy CM reviewed essential safety features, specifically the integration of pedestrian footpaths designed to prevent accidents.

Earlier in the day, he also visited the Sukh Sagar Bhawan Ashram in Sikandarpur, Bishnah, where he paid obeisance and instructed caretakers to ensure the timely and high-quality execution of ongoing development works at the spiritual site.
