Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary Fast-Tracks Nowshera Bridge Projects; Offers Prayers at Gurudwara on Hola Mohalla

RAJOURI, March 4, 2026 — Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary conducted a high-level field inspection today to review the construction progress of two critical connectivity projects in the Nowshera sector: the 90-meter span Dhallian Bridge over the Tawi River and the Rata Galla Bridge at Kalsian.

During his visit, the Deputy CM interacted with senior engineers from the PWD and PMGSY departments to assess the status of these projects, which are being executed under the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) funded scheme.

Emphasizing the strategic importance of these bridges for regional mobility, he issued strict directives to the executing agencies to accelerate the pace of work and ensure timely operationalization without compromising on quality standards.

Later in the day, marking the auspicious occasion of Hola Mohalla, the Deputy Chief Minister visited Gurudwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha to pay obeisance and pray for the peace and prosperity of the region.

Highlighting that the festival symbolizes courage and selfless service, he remarked that such traditions continue to inspire unity and collective progress across the diverse fabric of society.
