Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary Affirms Commitment to Equitable Development for Jammu and Srinagar

JAMMU, April 10, 2026— Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary today underscored the Government’s dedicated mission to foster balanced and equitable growth across the twin capital cities of Jammu and Srinagar.

Speaking during a series of interactive sessions with public and individual delegations at the Civil Secretariat in Jammu, the Deputy Chief Minister emphasized that the administration is prioritizing a holistic development model to ensure no region is left behind.

During a meeting with a high-level delegation led by former MLC Rattan Lal Gupta and Tejinder Pal Singh, he assured citizens that urban transformation remains a top priority, with a strategic focus on modernizing infrastructure and improving the living standards of all residents.

To translate this vision into action, the Deputy Chief Minister highlighted a suite of progressive initiatives currently underway, ranging from large-scale city beautification projects to the critical upgradation of roads, water supply, and electricity networks.
