Delhi, January 15, 2026: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta visited the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Republic Day Camp (RDC) at Delhi Cantt today, where she commended the cadets for their exceptional discipline and dedication.
Reviewing the “Guard of Honour” and witnessing a synchronized band display by cadets from Newman College, Kerala, the Chief Minister noted that the performances reflected the true “heartbeat of the nation.”
During her visit, she explored the “Flag Area,” which showcases various social themes and national progress, and toured the “Hall of Fame” to learn about the rich history and significant achievements of the NCC.In her address, Rekha Gupta praised the NCC for its role in shaping courageous and responsible youth through initiatives like the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat and Special National Integration Camps.
She reinforced the vision shared by Prime Minister Narendra Modi that today’s cadets are the leaders of tomorrow, tasked with upholding India’s unity, integrity, and dignity.
Emphasizing that building a developed India is a shared mission, she called upon the youth to move forward with a strong sense of duty and a commitment to constitutional values, concluding with a powerful reminder that the nation’s freedom comes with the responsibility of selfless service.
