Emphasis on timely completion of patch work and utility shifting
UDHAMPUR, OCTOBER 17: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, today conducted an on-spot inspection of the Chopra ITBP road under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana to assess the progress of patch work at the take-off point.
During the visit, the DC directed the Executive Engineer, PMGSY, to ensure early completion of the patch work for smooth vehicular movement. She also instructed the Executive Engineer, JPDCL, to immediately shift the electricity poles, while the Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Department, was asked to relocate the water supply pipes lying within the road alignment without delay.
The DC emphasized the timely completion of all related works to improve road connectivity and facilitate hassle-free transportation in the area.
