DC Baramulla Minga Sherpa Launches 2026 Haj Pilgrims Vaccination Drive

BARAMULLA, FEBRUARY 03, 2026 – Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Minga Sherpa officially inaugurated the 2026 vaccination programme for Haj pilgrims today at the Associated Hospital of Government Medical College (GMC), Baramulla.

The launch event, attended by the Principal of GMC Baramulla, the Chief Medical Officer, the District Immunization Officer, and the Medical Superintendent, focused on ensuring that all pilgrims from the district receive necessary medical clearances and vaccinations in a streamlined manner.

During the inauguration, Minga Sherpa reviewed the logistical arrangements at the vaccination center and directed staff to ensure the process remains smooth and efficient for all travelers.

This health initiative is designed to fulfill mandatory international health protocols and provide comprehensive medical preparedness, ensuring a safe and healthy pilgrimage for the residents of Baramulla.
