Udhampur, 01 November :- Continuing its sustained efforts against cybercrime, the Cyber PS Udhampur has successfully recovered and refunded ₹3,71,717.66/- to victims of cyber fraud in 18 complaint cases registered between October 1st to October 31st, 2025.
After receiving these complaints, the team of Cyber PS Udhampur swung into the action and started the inquiry into the matter and initiated the process of reversal and recovery of the amount.The recovered amounts were credited back to the respective victims belonging to different areas of District Udhampur, including Chenani, Ramnagar, and Basantgarh.
The recoveries were made through swift technical analysis and coordinated efforts with banks and financial intermediaries.Udhampur Police urge the general public of district Udhampur to stay alert and avoid sharing sensitive information online.
