Udhampur 17 October :- In a touching display of care, the Quick Action Team (QAT) of the 137th Battalion of the CRPF in Udhampur helped reunite an elderly man with his family in Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh.
He had been missing for 9 to 10 months. The breakthrough happened when QAT members, CT/GD Arvind Dubey and CT/GD Murari Choudhary, found the confused elderly man.
Thinking quickly, they asked him to write his address on a piece of paper. This gave them important information about his hometown. During the conversation, CT/GD Dubey remembered a former QAT member, CT/GD Jageshwar Singh. Singh had been transferred to GC Raipur two years ago and was also from Shahdol.
Dubey acted fast and contacted Singh to inform him about the missing manFortunately, Singh was close by and reached out to the man’s family. To verify the identity, the QAT team later set up a video call with the elderly man’s son. They provided him with the location and reassured him of his father’s safety.
This entire operation has been praised as an excellent example of the CRPF’s dedication to public service, going above and beyond their duties. It showed quick thinking, good teamwork, and deep compassion.
