NALBARI 13 August :- Director General of CRPF, Gyanendra Pratap Singh , conducted a comprehensive review of the 136th Battalion of the Rapid Action Force (RAF) in Nalbari, Assam—RAF units strategically stationed in North-East India. Upon arrival, he was presented with a ceremonial Guard of Honour by an impeccably turned-out contingent. During his inspection, the DG assessed the unit’s operational preparedness, touring key facilities including the office block, barracks, training grounds, and regimental institutions.
Focusing on training, operational efficiency, and capacity building, DG Singh underscored the critical role of the RAF in maintaining security and rapid response capabilities in the region. His visit aimed to reinforce the force’s readiness and ensure optimal functioning of the specialized unit tasked with handling sensitive situations. The review highlighted CRPF’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the North-East while enhancing the operational effectiveness of its forces.
