CRPF 76 Battalion Hosts Free Medical Camp and Wellness Drive at Channi Rama

JAMMU, MARCH 13, 2026 — As part of its ongoing Civic Action Programme for 2025-26, the 76 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organized a comprehensive free medical camp today at the Shri Guru Ravidass Community Hall in Channi Rama.

The initiative, aimed at providing essential healthcare services to underprivileged residents and promoting a culture of wellness, was officially inaugurated by former Corporator Kamal Singh Jamwal alongside Vezoto Tinyi, Commandant of the 76 Bn.

During the event, Commandant Tinyi addressed the gathering, emphasizing the vital importance of regular physical exercise and proactive health management in maintaining a fit lifestyle within the community.

The medical camp witnessed a significant turnout, with Dr. Monica Paul, Chief Medical Officer (SG) of the 76 Bn., conducting thorough health screenings for approximately 270 civilians. Beyond the consultations, the CRPF distributed free medicines to those in need, addressing immediate health concerns on-site.

The local community responded with overwhelming gratitude, praising the CRPF for their humanitarian efforts and requesting that similar health-focused interventions be conducted regularly in the future to bridge the gap in accessible medical care.
