Connectivity Boost for Bhalwal: Deputy CM Unveils ₹10.27 Crore Road Infrastructure
Jammu 17 December :- In a major push for rural infrastructure, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary officially inaugurated a series of road and bridge projects totaling ₹10.27 crore across the Bhalwal region of Jammu.
Accompanied by DDC Chairman Bharat Bhushan and MLA Devyani Rana, the Deputy CM launched several key routes, including a 2.50-km road at New Bridge Julee Simbliwala, vital link roads in Lower Gharota, and a significant 22-meter double-lane bridge over the Ranbir Canal at Lower Amb. Highlighting these projects as a response to long-standing local demands, Choudhary emphasized that the improved connectivity would directly enhance the livelihoods of residents by providing seamless access to surrounding areas.
During the visit, he also engaged with local delegations to address ongoing concerns, reaffirming the government’s commitment to accelerating pending developmental works across Jammu and Kashmir to ensure timely public benefit.
