JAMMU, February 06, 2026 — General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), conducted a high-level visit to the White Knight Corps (16 Corps) today to evaluate the prevailing security landscape and the operational readiness of troops deployed in the region.
During his visit, the Army Chief was given a comprehensive briefing on the current counter-terrorism grid and the strategic measures in place to maintain stability. General Dwivedi lauded the seamless synergy and coordination displayed between various security agencies and the Indian Army during joint operations.
