JAMMU, JANUARY 27, 2026 — Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today spearheaded a comprehensive pre-budget consultation meeting in Jammu, engaging with a diverse group of stakeholders to refine the government’s fiscal roadmap for the 2026–27 financial year.
The session brought together key representatives from the industry, trade, tourism, hospitality, education, and agriculture sectors. Attended by senior cabinet ministers and top bureaucrats—including Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo and Principal Secretary Finance—the meeting served as a platform for stakeholders to highlight sector-specific challenges and propose strategies for inclusive regional growth.
