CISF Personnel Complete Intensive Counter-IED Training Conducted by Indian Army

BARABANKI, Feb 20, 2026: In a significant move to bolster national security, personnel from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) successfully participated in a specialized two-day Counter Improvised Explosive Device (CIED) Training Cadre.

Conducted by the Surya Disposers of the Indian Army at the Shingara Training School in Barabanki, the program provided high-level technical expertise in managing explosive threats.

The curriculum specifically focused on modern IED response protocols and the intricate procedures involved in Post Blast Investigation (PBI), ensuring that the CISF is equipped with the latest forensic and tactical skills to handle real-world terror scenarios.
