NEW DELHI, January 15, 2026: In a significant move to bridge the gap between India’s youth and the military, the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, hosted an ‘At Home’ function for over 500 National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets and officials at the naval headquarters.
Representing all three services—Army, Navy, and Air Force—the cadets, along with senior officials from the HQ Directorate General NCC, were given a rare glimpse into the traditions, leadership culture, and professional ethos of the Indian Navy.
This high-profile interaction was designed to honor the cadets’ commitment and provide them with a firsthand experience of the life and responsibilities of the nation’s maritime defenders.
During the event, Admiral Tripathi personally interacted with the young volunteers, presenting them with mementos as a gesture of encouragement and goodwill. The CNS emphasized the importance of core values such as discipline, integrity, and selfless service, urging the cadets to carry these principles into their future endeavors.
By fostering this enduring bond between the Defense Forces and the NCC, the function served not only as a celebratory gathering but also as a powerful recruitment catalyst, motivating the next generation to pursue careers in the Armed Forces and contribute actively to India’s national development and security.
