Chief Minister Inaugurates State-of-the-Art Convention Centre in Gulmarg, Boosting Tourism and Local Economy

Srinagar 18 September :- Chief Minister of J&K Omar Abdullah today inaugurated a new, world-class Convention Centre in the picturesque tourist destination of Gulmarg.

The state-of-the-art facility is poised to significantly boost tourism by attracting a new segment of visitors and promoting MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) activities to the region. This development is also expected to create fresh opportunities for local youth in the hospitality and service sectors and provide a substantial boost to surrounding businesses.

Addressing at the inauguration ceremony, the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah stated that the new Convention Centre will further strengthen Gulmarg’s position as a premier global tourist destination, offering modern infrastructure to complement its natural beauty and adventure offerings.
