Chaitra Navratri 2026: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Visits Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine to Pray for Peace
KATRA, March 19, 2026 — On the auspicious commencement of Chaitra Navratri, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, visited the holy cave shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi to pay his obeisance.
Arriving at the Trikuta Hills amid the spiritual fervor of the nine-day festival, the Lieutenant Governor performed special prayers for the collective welfare of the people.

This high-profile visit coincides with the start of the Shat Chandi Maha Yagya at the shrine, underscoring the administration’s commitment to overseeing the massive pilgrimage and ensuring a harmonious festive season for the thousands of devotees currently trekking to the Bhawan.
