GARHWAL, February 26, 2026 — In a resolute display of military preparedness, Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, GOC-in-C of the Central Command, conducted a high-stakes operational review of troops deployed across the rugged forward areas of the Garhwal Region.

Reaffirming the Indian Army’s absolute readiness “from icy heights to operational might,” the Army Commander’s visit underscored a steadfast commitment to securing the nation’s frontiers against evolving threats.
