Budgam Police Attach Land Property of JKNOP Operative Under UAPA and BNSS

BUDGAM, Feb 21: In a decisive blow to the financial and logistical infrastructure of terror networks, the Budgam Police today attached the immovable property of a Jammu and Kashmir National Outfits (JKNOP) operative.

The action targets Ghulam Nabi Najar, a resident of Gamgulla Khansahib, who is an accused in FIR No. 58/2024 at the Khag Police Station. The case involves serious charges under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), including sections related to the possession of arms and involvement with terror organizations.

The attached asset consists of approximately 01 Kanal and 16 Marlas of prime land situated in the village of Gamgulla Khansahib.The attachment was executed under Section 85 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), following the completion of all necessary legal formalities.

This high-impact measure is part of an aggressive strategy by the Jammu and Kashmir Police to dismantle the support structures that sustain anti-national activities. By targeting the personal assets of operatives, authorities aim to send an unequivocal warning that those involved in unlawful acts will face both criminal prosecution and the forfeiture of their property.

The police reaffirmed their zero-tolerance policy against terrorism, vowing to continue relentless operations until the financial backbone of cross-border sponsored networks is entirely destroyed.
