BRO Establishes Central GREF Grievances Management Cell to Streamline Pension and Record Services
PUNE, February 28, 2026 — In a major move to enhance veteran welfare and administrative transparency, the Border Roads Organization (BRO) has launched a dedicated Central GREF Grievances Management Cell at the GREF Centre.
This newly institutionalized mechanism is specifically designed to address long-standing record-related challenges, providing a streamlined platform for both serving and retired GREF personnel.
For years, many veterans and Veer Naris (war widows) faced significant hurdles in navigating complex pension matters and record discrepancies due to the lack of a centralized support system.
This initiative effectively bridges that gap, ensuring that grievance resolution is handled with the dignity and speed the GREF fraternity deserves.
By focusing on timely support and automated record management, the cell represents a “meaningful step toward big change,” reaffirming the organization’s commitment to the financial security and well-being of its workforce and their families.
All affected personnel and dependents are encouraged to utilize this new facility to ensure their administrative and pensionary concerns are resolved without delay.
