Jammu, September 29, 2025 – The Hindi Official Language Fortnight is being celebrated in the Jammu Division from September 14th to 30th.
Various competitions are being organized daily during this period. Under the Hindi Fortnight, emphasis is being placed on the use of Hindi in official work. In this regard, a book exhibition was organized today, September 29, 2025, in the Hindi libraries of various stations in the division, including Jammu, Udhampur, and Budgam.
The exhibition aims to increase awareness of the Hindi language and ensure the availability of reading material for passengers and railway employees.The exhibition featured a collection of books covering various genres and subjects, including literature, history, science, biographies, and children’s books.
The division’s senior Hindi translator, Sarita, and railway employees were present during the exhibition.
