JAMMU, FEBRUARY 14, 2026 — Marking the anniversary of the Pulwama sacrifice with a powerful act of humanity, a mega blood donation camp was organized today in collaboration with Bee Enn General Hospital.
The event served as a heartfelt tribute to the brave martyrs, drawing volunteers from across the region who successfully contributed over 38 units of blood. The initiative, characterized by a spirit of national service and social responsibility, was spearheaded by Ramneek Sharma, Chief Patron of Navya Srijan Sewa Sansthan, alongside a dedicated medical team.
The Chief Guest for the occasion, Ved Sharma (BJP All Cells Incharge), emphasized that blood donation is a vital national duty rather than just a simple humanitarian act. Highlighting a critical gap in public awareness, Sharma noted that if only 1% of the population donated regularly, the country’s blood requirements would be fully met.
He issued a stirring call to action for the youth to lead these life-saving initiatives. The program also featured distinguished guests including Brahmkumari Behan Nirmal Didi, JKAS Ajaz Quiser, and social activist Deepak Gupta, who collectively encouraged citizens to prioritize social causes.
In a poignant display of compassion, the event also included the donation of a wheelchair to an individual who recently suffered a double limb loss in a tragic accident. The wheelchair, provided by the Lioness Club through Director Moksha Abrol, was presented to the beneficiary’s wife.
Concluding the event, Deepak Gupta expressed gratitude to the participants and medical professionals, noting that such humanitarian efforts are essential for strengthening social unity and inspiring the next generation of selfless leaders.
