BJP Slams Mehbooba Mufti and Aga Ruhullah Over Foreign Policy Remarks, Cites India’s Global Humanitarian Leadership

JAMMU, February 27, 2026 — Jammu and Kashmir BJP Spokesperson Abhijeet Jasrotia has issued a sharp retort to local leaders Mehbooba Mufti and Aga Ruhullah, advising that those with limited regional political influence should refrain from lecturing the nation on complex matters of international diplomacy.

Speaking at the party headquarters alongside State Media Incharge Pardeep Mahotra, Jasrotia asserted that India’s foreign policy is a masterclass in consistency and humanitarianism, rooted in the civilizational philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (The World is One Family).

He highlighted India’s proactive global role, citing the immediate dispatch of medical aid to Palestine and earthquake relief to Turkey, as well as critical infrastructure projects like port development in Iran and sustained support for Afghanistan.

Reaffirming a zero-tolerance stance against terrorism, Jasrotia drew parallels between the 26/11 Mumbai attacks and the October 7 violence, stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has remained unwavering in his resolve to dismantle terror networks since his historic stand at Lal Chowk.

The BJP leadership concluded that while dynastic politicians struggle for local relevance, the current administration has successfully implemented a calibrated, multi-alignment strategy and a security-centric policy architecture that ensures India’s strategic autonomy on the global stage.
