SRINAGAR, January 9, 2026 — The Jammu & Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) conducted a series of high-level review meetings today at the party office in Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar, to assess the performance of its Mahila Morcha, Kisan Morcha, and various party cells.
Led by J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul and General Secretary Anwar Khan, the sessions focused on strengthening the party’s grassroots organizational structure and ensuring that the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is effectively implemented across the Kashmir Valley. Senior leaders, including Mudassir Wani, Arif Raja, and Bilal Parray, joined district teams to strategize on deepening the party’s public outreach.
During his address, Ashok Koul emphasized that the BJP’s strength is derived from its disciplined cadre and ideological clarity. He highlighted the critical role of Morchas and Cells in bridging the gap between the government and the public, specifically urging members to educate households on welfare initiatives like the G RAM G scheme.
Koul remarked that BJP politics is rooted in service and accountability, contrasting it with opposition narratives. He called for intensified engagement with women, farmers, and the youth to foster active participation in nation-building.
Supporting this vision, Anwar Khan described the party’s specialized wings as the backbone of its organizational machinery.
He stressed that disciplined functioning and constant public engagement are essential for the successful delivery of central government schemes across Jammu & Kashmir.
The meeting concluded with a collective resolve among functionaries to broaden awareness campaigns and solidify the party’s presence at the booth and mandal levels to ensure benefits reach the last person in the queue.
