BJP Jammu & Kashmir Review: Sat Sharma and Ashok Koul Strategize for Grassroots Empowerment
JAMMU, March 19, 2026 — Strengthening its political footprint across the Union Territory, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir leadership conducted a high-level organizational review at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar.
Presided over by BJP J&K President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma, alongside General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, the meeting focused on booth-level consolidation and the strategic roadmap for upcoming political activities.
Senior leaders, including Vice Presidents Bharat Bhushan, Rakesh Mahajan, and Rekha Mahajan, participated in a comprehensive evaluation of the Prashikshan Mahaabhiyan, a major training initiative designed to equip the party cadre with the skills and knowledge necessary for effective public engagement.
During the session, Sat Sharma emphasized that booth-level workers remain the backbone of the party, urging leaders to ensure that every local unit is empowered to highlight government welfare initiatives and transformative policies directly to the public.
Reinforcing this message, Ashok Koul laid stress on organizational discipline and a systematic methodology for the ongoing training camps at the district and mandal levels. He directed leaders to maintain a results-oriented approach and foster seamless coordination to ensure the BJP remains a proactive, people-centric force.
