JAMMU, December 29, 2025: Reaffirming its dedication to inclusive growth, the Jammu & Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a high-level introductory meeting of the newly nominated ST Morcha team at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar.
The session was led by J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma, alongside General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, and General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra, Baldev Singh Billawaria, and Gopal Mahajan. The meeting, which brought together district presidents and executive members from across the Union Territory, served as a platform to outline organizational priorities and reinforce the party’s mission to empower tribal communities through structured outreach and policy awareness.
During his address, Sat Sharma emphasized that the ST Morcha acts as a vital bridge between the party and the tribal population, ensuring that the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaches every remote corner of Jammu & Kashmir. He highlighted that the BJP’s ideology places the dignity and welfare of Scheduled Tribes at the forefront of its development agenda.
Meanwhile, Ashok Koul urged the new appointees to prioritize the completion of ground-level teams and foster organizational discipline. He stressed the importance of educating the community on central welfare schemes related to socio-economic upliftment, health, and self-employment, ensuring that the ST Morcha remains a proactive force in nation-building and addressing the genuine grievances of the tribal society.
