Baramulla Police Launch Massive Public Outreach Campaign Across 30 Locations to Strengthen Community Ties

BARAMULLA, January 29, 2026 — In an extensive effort to bolster police-public synergy and address local grievances at the grassroots level, the Baramulla Police successfully executed a large-scale public outreach programme across 30 strategic locations within the district.

These interactive sessions, held in areas ranging from Harnaw and Palhallan to Salamabad and Singhpora, provided a vital platform for citizens to voice concerns regarding essential services such as water scarcity, power irregularities, and road connectivity.

Beyond civic issues, police officers engaged in high-impact sensitization drives, educating the public on cyber-crime prevention, the nuances of verification procedures, and the critical fight against drug abuse.

Residents were encouraged to utilize the Dial-112 emergency service for real-time reporting, with officials assuring that all genuine administrative concerns would be escalated to the relevant departments for swift redressal.

This proactive community policing initiative has been widely lauded by local residents as a significant step toward fostering a transparent, people-friendly, and secure environment in North Kashmir.
