Back-to-Back Drug Peddler Detained Under the PIT NDPS Act by Udhampur Police, Total Number Reaches 14

Udhampur 23 October :- In continuation of its resolute efforts to eradicate drug trafficking within the district. Udhampur Police has successfully executed a detention order under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT NDPS) Act against Mohd Tariq @ Kaka S/O Shah Mohd R/O Chak, Tehsil & District Udhampur.

The detention order issued by the competent authority was executed today by the Police team of PS Udhampur. The accused has been formally lodged in Kot Bhalwal Jail, Jammu.This marks the 14th detention under the PIT NDPS Act in the current year by Udhampur Police Mohd Tariq alias Kaka is a known offender involved in multiple NDPS cases within the district. His continued engagement in the illicit drug trade represents a significant threat to public health and safety particularly affecting the youth.
