Babila Rakwal Launches Smart Classroom and “Coop Heroes” Magazine at Centre for Cooperative Management
Jammu January 01, 2026:- In a major step toward modernizing cooperative education in the Union Territory, Commissioner Secretary of the Cooperative Department, Babila Rakwal, inaugurated a state-of-the-art Smart Classroom at the Centre for Cooperative Management (CCM), Jammu.
Alongside this technological upgrade, she launched a suite of literary and communication tools, including the “Coop Heroes” magazine, the official CCM calendar, and a monthly newsletter. These initiatives are designed to foster a more transparent and well-informed cooperative ecosystem by showcasing success stories and providing regular updates on sectoral achievements to stakeholders and institutions.
During the event, which was attended by senior registrars and departmental officials, a comprehensive future vision for the CCM was unveiled, focusing on capacity building and skill development. The new Smart Classroom is expected to revolutionize training by integrating digital tools and interactive teaching methods, ensuring that the cooperative workforce is equipped for modern challenges. Babila Rakwal lauded the proactive role of CCM Jammu in nurturing skilled human resources and urged the institute to align its training programs with emerging sectoral needs and the principles of good governance to ensure sustainable growth.
