UDHAMPUR AUGUST 25,2025: Career Counseling and Guidance Cell ofGovernment College for Women(GCW) Udhampur in collaboration with State Bank of India (SBI) Udhampur organised an awareness program on thetopic Career in banking and available financial products in thecollege campus here today. The career counseling and guidance cell Udhampur was the nodal agency for it .
Principal GCW Udhampur Prof Dr Nalini pathania while giving hermessage underlined the importance of financial literacy and financialinclusion especially for girl students.The chief resource persons were Sandeep Sharma and Gaurav Singh Banking associates besides Jagdish Kumar.
Those resource persons spoke with details about the financial productsand literacy. They also spoke in detail about the career opportunitiesin SBI life and offered a trainee position to the willing students andgave them the instructions book containing the application form to beenrolled in the SBI Life .
Earlier, The programme started with a welcome address by Dr Ajay Kumar Sharma.The vote of thanks was presented by Dr Om Prakash HoD Sanskrit department and member career counseling and guidance cell.
