HAFLONG, March 9, 2026 — Demonstrating their commitment as the “Friends of the Hill People,” Assam Rifles personnel, in collaboration with the AROH Society, extended vital assistance to victims of a tragic road accident on the New Haflong Approach Road.

On March 8, 2026, representatives visited the Haflong Civil Hospital to monitor the recovery of those undergoing treatment and offer direct support to the grieving families.

During the visit, the personnel interacted closely with the injured to ensure they were receiving adequate medical care, while also distributing food packets and essential supplies to provide immediate relief.
