Assam Rifles Inducts 282 New Soldiers: Grand Attestation Parade Held at Shokhuvi
SHOKHUVI, NAGALAND — January 31, 2026: The Assam Rifles Training Centre and School (ARTC&S) marked a significant milestone today as 282 recruits, including 36 women, were formally inducted into India’s oldest paramilitary force during an impressive Attestation Parade. Reviewed by Major General JS Bainsla, SM, Additional Director General Assam Rifles, the ceremony transformed dynamic young trainees into newly attested Riflemen and Riflewomen ready for national service.
This event serves as the successful conclusion of an intensive and grueling training regimen designed to forge physically resilient and professionally skilled soldiers.
